Writer. Editor. Facilitator. Author of Chasing Harmony, Dream Signs, and The Modern Enneagram.

I write books about wonder and the messy process of coming to know yourself. My YA novel, Chasing Harmony, is available from Read Furiously. My short story collection, Dream Signs, was published by Lost Fox Publishing and is temporarily out of print. My nonfiction book, The Modern Enneagram, is available from Althea Press. My novella “The Cliffman” is available in the literary horror collection Hard for Hope to Flourish. More to come!

I regularly write and publish shorter pieces, including poetry, short stories, personal essays, and an ongoing blog of STEM book author tips. My work has appeared in venues such as Contrary Magazine, The Huffington Post, Cicada, Every Day Fiction, Grain, and The Fiddlehead. See my online portfolio to read the latest things I’ve written.

I’ve worked as an editor, university writing instructor, English as a Second Language teacher, freelance writer, and curriculum designer. I’m bilingual, fluent in written and spoken French as well as English. I hold degrees in Interdisciplinary Leadership from the University of New Brunswick and in Creative Writing from Concordia University.

I’m a certified teacher of the Enneagram, a personality typology which illuminates people’s core motivations: why we do the things we do. (See my book The Modern Enneagram for more). I facilitate Enneagram workshops and trainings by request (inquire here).

I am passionately international. Having immigrated to Canada from the US as a baby, I’ve never quite felt like a “native” of anywhere, and I appreciate connecting with people whose backgrounds differ from my own. I’ve worked with students and clients from around the world to understand themselves and hone their writing. I’m currently living in the UK, my ancestors’ homeland and my third country of residence.
