Other Writing

In addition to my YA novel, Chasing Harmony (Read Furiously, 2022), short story collection, Dream Signs (Lost Fox Publishing 2021, currently out of print), and nonfiction book, The Modern Enneagram (Althea Press 2017), I write short fiction, poetry, plays, and essays. My poetry collection The Heart Decided to Move is forthcoming in 2025.

My novella “The Cliffman” is available in the literary horror collection Hard for Hope to Flourish.

My short plays The Pictures of Dora Gray and An IQ Test for my Birthday were featured in Tower Theatre Writers’ Room showcases in 2022 and 2023.

In my day job, I write and edit for Mind Tools, and I previously created and wrote a book author blog for ICE Publishing. My professional clients have included newspapers, magazines, and online publications. I have written a recipe column for Skirt Collective (now offline) and a queer book review column for Autostraddle. A few of the places I’ve been published are Cicada, xoJane, Grain, The Fiddlehead, and Every Day Fiction. I’ve also written curriculum materials for an online English as a Second Language course and for Bhutan’s first undergraduate leadership course at Sherubtse College.

I have also published pieces in a number of anthologies. See my Amazon author page for an updated list.
